Upgrade a Seniors Business Discount Card to a Seniors Card or Seniors Card +go

You are eligible to upgrade to a Seniors Card or request a Seniors Card +go if you:
- hold a Seniors Business Discount Card and;
- work less than 35 hours per week in paid employment

If you are between 60 and 64 years of age you must also hold a Commonwealth concession card from Centrelink or the Dept of Veterans’ Affairs.

Cardholders may apply using this online form (remember to select the ‘Submit’ button to lodge your application electronically).

You may also submit an application by calling Smart Service Queensland on 13 QGOV (13 74 68) and have your Commonwealth concession card number available if you are between 60 and 64 years of age.

(Centrelink – Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card;
Dept of Veterans’ Affairs – Gold, White or Orange Card.)

Examples: Centrelink CRN is 9 digits followed by a letter – 123456789A

              Veterans’ Affairs file numbers are usually 1, 2, or 3 letters plus 5 numbers and a letter – QSM61234A.
              If your file number begins with only 2 letters, please leave a space for the missing third letter before the numbers.
